Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): The Lions Club of Dimapur Elite, in collaboration with SD Jain Hospital, organised a free health check-up camp at the hospital premises on September 22.
The event was attended by the secretary and joint secretary of Jain Charitable Clinic, a release said.
The camp was conducted under the leadership of club president Lion Meena Sethi, secretary Lion Prernaa Maheswarri, and treasurer Lion Sakchi Jain. The project was headed by Lion Ritika Jain and Lion Payal Jain.
A team of doctors, including Dr Yanger Aier, paediatrician Dr Wabang Temjem, dentist Dr Nungshi Naru, and homeopathic specialist Dr Rajni Sethi, provided medical consultations. Services included check-ups for diabetes and blood pressure.
According to the club, a total of 96 patients were treated for various ailments, including viral infections, dental issues, and generic diseases. All patients received prescriptions and free medicines, the release added.
The camp, which ran from 9 am to 4 pm, also saw the distribution of necessary supplements.
