The oldest woman of Washello Village, Yipenthsü (93 years) inaugurating a free medical camp conducted by Phek Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) at the village on April 8. A specially constituted team under Assam Rifles Medical Officer examined 163 people - comprising of 62 Males, 58 Females and 43 children. Apart from free medicines and medical assistance to the ailing patients, an AR release informed that basic knowledge on epidemic diseases including precautionary measures was also imparted at the medical camp.
