Free medical camp benefits 42 residents at Mungya

A free health check-up camp was organised at Mungya village on Sunday under the initiative of Dr Mharhoni Odyuo of Holistic Haven Clinic in collaboration with H N Pharmacy, providing medical consultation and treatment services to local residents.

The camp offered free doctor consultations and on-the-spot treatment, enabling villagers to access basic healthcare services without any cost. The initiative also aimed to improve healthcare accessibility and promote awareness on the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment.

A total of 42 people availed the services during the camp. The oldest beneficiary was 90-year-old Womongo, who received medical consultation and treatment during the programme.

According to the organisers, many of the patients sought treatment for nerve-related ailments, urinary tract infections (UTIs), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), knee pain, shoulder pain and other health issues.

The medicines distributed during the camp were sponsored by H N Pharmacy, located below the Bank of Baroda at Police Point in Wokha, the organisers said.
