Mokokchung, October 2 (MExN): A free medical health camp was organized by the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung in collaboration with Satsukba church leaders at Satsukba Village on the October 1.
A medical team led by Dr Alemwabang, SMO, CHC Mangkolemba, provided services such as Dental, Eye, General medicine, Ayush, Physiotherapy and Audiometry tests. Random blood sugar, haemoglobin and malaria tests were also done on the spot, informed a press release from the CMO’s office on Sunday.
IEC team from the CMO’s office delivered health talks and IEC materials were also distributed among the beneficiaries during the camp.
A total of 54 beneficiaries availed the medical services provided during the camp. Free medicines were also provided to beneficiaries.
Medical Staff from IMDH, Tsurangkong, Mangkolemba block and members from Satsukba Baptist Church assisted in all the needful logistics, the release stated.
