Kohima, October 8 (MExN): The Freedom Rider Biker Rallies in convergence with All India Motorbike Expedition 2022 (AIME) reached Kohima on October 8.
A DIPR report stated that a total of 75 bikers including 11 women bikers and 20 crew members were received at SKV Petrol Pump, Kohima by the Kohima team led by Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports, Wezope Kenye, and officials from YRS, NYKS, and district administration. The oldest rider is 66 years.
The idea of the expedition is to have Bikers covering 75 Iconic locations in India with its crew highlighting Indian heritage and culture by disseminating the message of health and fitness while celebrating AKAM under the banner of Fit India Mission. It would be approx. three month Expedition envisaged covering approximately 21,000 km where the convoy would pass through 34 States/UTs, and more than 250 districts.
Advisor YRS, Er Zale Neikha will flag off the Bikers Rally en route to Imphal after they visit the World War 2 Memorial Museum at Kisama on October 9.
