FTII to conduct training on smartphone film making

Dimapur, October 11 (MExN): The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with the Department of IPR, will begin the second phase with the Basic Course in Smartphone Film Making for ST participants residing in Nagaland from October 17 to 21. The five-day training is being imparted free of cost as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration which will be conducted offline at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Kohima, the DIPR informed on Tuesday.

Participants should belong to Scheduled Tribe and should be 18 years and above.

“There will be no course fee. However, participants are required to pay Rs 500 at the time of registration,” the DIPR informed. No TA and DA will be provided, it said.

It also informed that certificates will be issued by FTII upon successful completion of the course.
