Full committed to reconcile without any condition: NSCN-K (Khango)

Dimapur, January 18 (MExN): A day after the NGBF and NTC’s joint appeal and reminder to 'reconcile and unite' urgently, a side of the splintered  NSCN-K (Khango) said that its “doors are wide open to reconciliation” and assured full commitment for such action without condition.

Welcoming the concern and appeal by the Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) and Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC), a press release from the NSCN-K (Khango) stated its stand is still the same.

“Our doors are wide open to reconciliation to stand strong together as before forgive and forget everything as 'to err is human' because as comrades we have been through thick and thin together,” it said.

It further pointed out that through various press communiqués, it had appealed to “our dissident President” and offered olive branches for reconciliation.

The Ato Kilonser even stated that he is ready to “forgive and forget an attempt on his life by some rogue army personnel for the sake of the cause and Naga political solution,” it maintained.

While noting that it is “hell-bent and exploring all options to reconcile,” the NSCN-K (Khango) pointed out that the  Nagas should call “spade a spade” and  not give way to the “evil designs of the adversaries and third party to hijack our struggle for their personal agendas and spread chaos.”

“Therefore while we are working towards reconciliation, we are also closely monitoring the situation and if need be we are ready to sacrifice everything and take measures to nip the devil from the bud,” it added.

The NSCN-K (Khango) further reassured the NTC/NGBF and Nagas at large of its full commitment to reconcile without any condition’ if the “dissident President gives out his hands as we need two hands to shake.”
