Bible tells that, it is ‘Man then Woman’. However, it ought to be ‘Woman then Man’ as the law of life. Women are in the increasing ratio in every sphere today, hence our planning process should change accordingly with the realities of statistics. The inevitable and irreplaceable role of the woman is child-bearing and rearing. Therefore, to facilitate, we ought to emphasize on ‘Crèches’ in every office and all neighbourhoods. The relevant Departments should formulate projects and programmes towards the implementation by incorporation into the gender planning process of the Government.
