Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): The renowned book ‘Genevieve’ translated into Lotha Naga language by Sentsudy Yanthan was released on June 22, at Chumpo Hall, Dimapur.
A press release stated that Jacob Yanthan, Joint Director of Agriculture Department while releasing the book said that it will be a huge benefit to those who cannot read English and that it is a big contribution to the Naga society. Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Moses expressed that translation is a very hard task and therefore, was pleasantly surprised that Sentsudy could translate an English story book into Lotha Naga language at such young age.
The author said that he was motivated to translate the book into Lotha Naga language keeping in view that people who cannot understand English may also get the benefits.
The event was chaired by Zirenthung Yanthan and the opening prayer was pronounced by Pastor Nongothung Ezung.
