GHS Chesezu gets new school building

Wonthungo Tsopoe and others during the inauguration of the newly constructed school building of GHS Chesezu on July 19.

Phek, July 20 (MExN): A newly constructed school building of Government High School, Chesezu village under Phek district was inaugurated by Nagaland’s school education director Wonthungo Tsopoe on July 19 last.
This new school building was constructed under the state plan.


Addressing the gathering, Tsopoe said the schools building was constructed in the village to help create better teaching and learning environment in the rural areas.


He called upon the teachers to remain loyal to their posting places and give their sincere effort as ‘service to man is service to God.’


He said the teachers should always be on mission mode and impart quality education.


The director also assured that the government will be doing its best to provide mathematics and science teachers to various schools.
Theodore Yanthan, ADC Chozuba also delivered short speech.


Earlier, the function was chaired by Thungrhomo Odyuo SDEO, Chozuba while welcome address was delivered by village education committee chairman Müdongoyi Ringa.


Chesezu village council chairman Muleyi Khesoh proposed vote of thanks.
Later, school education department donated computer set along with printer and sport items to the school.
