Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday said that representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs including Interlocutor AK Mishra and the Union Home Secretary assured that there will be tripartite talks for the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO)’s demand for separate statehood. That means, Rio said, the Government of India, ENPO and the State Government will be involved in the talk. “The ball is in everybody court. It is not one man game,” Rio said while briefing media persons in Kohima. Rio said the State Government had made a ‘good discussion’ with the ENPO on November 6 and had given its assurance on five points. However, the five points have not been divulged to media.  “We support them,” the CM said. On the ENPO’s standing resolution to abstain from Hornbill Festival, Rio said “We will discuss about it.” Earlier, Nagaland Parliamentary Affairs & Power Minister, KG Kenye appealed to the ENPO to participate in the Hornbill festival. He called for inclusive participation in the forthcoming Hornbill Festival, starting from December 1- 10.
