Kohima, October 27 (MExN): The Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, Children Ministry held a Gospel Teens Camp under the theme ‘Unshaken’ (II Corinthians 13:5-7) at Bharat Scout and Guide Training Centre, Nerhema from October 21 to 24.
Among the 121 campers, a press release said, “many of them accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour, re-dedicated their lives to Jesus while 34 Teens pledged to take water baptism.”
The camp revolved around the message of re-examining ourselves, receiving God’s Grace and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us to become a true believer; while living out the faith is Christ and remaining ‘Unshaken,’ the release stated.
Apart from the gospel services, essential trainings were given to campers to develop life skills viz. first aid, rope knotting, embellishment of tote bags and crafting pot coasters. A session on netiquettes was also conducted.
