Dimapur, November 2 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya has extended festival greetings to the Kuki community on the occasion of Kut.
Kut festival is a thanksgiving festival and it should provide opportunities for budding generations and other villagers to display their skills and physical strength, the Governor said in a message.
The festival should be a source for building unity, he said calling upon everyone to come together and make the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and all round development in the State.
Describing the festival as a happy occasion, the Governor also reminded “all to thank the Almighty for His unwavering love and blessing.”
“May the festival of Kut bring peace, unity and prosperity to the community,” he added.
