Governor of Nagaland constitutes Pay Anomalies Committee

Kohima, June 2 (MExN): The Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Government of Nagaland, informed today that the Governor of Nagaland has constituted a Pay Anomalies Committee consisting of the following members with immediate effect for examination of pay anomalies, if any, arising out of the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017: 1. Chairman: Imkonglemba Ao, Principal Secretary, Agri. & APC; 2. Member: Abhishek Singh, Commissioner & Secretary, P&AR; 3. Member: Khanrinla T. Koza, Secretary, Justice and Law; 4. Member Secretary: G.W. Lee, Adviser, Finance department (retired).  

According to the DIPR, the Committee shall examine all cases of anomalies arising in connection with the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017 on the basis of representations received from various Service Associations and individuals and also cases referred by the Government. The Committee shall decide its own procedure of functioning and may call for information from any Department/Service Association to facilitate examination of cases referred to it.  

The Committee can accept representations from any Service Association/individual Government servant and may invite them for hearing their grievances, if felt necessary.  

The Committee shall submit its recommendations to the Government within four months from the date of issue of this notification.  

To enable the Committee to proceed with its task, all the State Government Departments and Service Associations, including individuals, have been informed to submit their representations, if any, clearly indicating the anomalies found by them in the Nagaland Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017, so as to reach the Committee latest by July 15, 2018.  

All such representations, stated the DIPR, should be addressed to the Chairman, Pay Anomalies Committee, and sent to the official address of the Principal Secretary (Agri) & APC and Chairman of PAC.
