
KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulations, 2012, were taken up for consideration and adoption during the 12th session of the 11th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, following which amendments were proposed to be incorporated into it by the Government.
The Secretary of the Legislative Assembly, A.E. Lotha, through a press communiqué, has ‘the Regulations’ was adopted with following Amendments after deliberation:
(1) Regulation No. 14, sub-clause (1)(b) for “Not less than three per cent” substitute “Not less than four per cent.’
(2) Regulation No. 14, sub-clause (1)( c), - for “Not less than three per cent” substitute “Not less than two per cent”
(3) Regulation No. 14, sub-clause (2) ( c), Add at the end, namely; “with the Tribal Hoho(s) as pivotal agencies.”
(4) Regulation No. 17, sub-clause (1) for the numerals “33% substitute the words and numerals “not less than 50%”
(5) Regulation 24, Add at the end, - “(4) The Government of Nagaland shall consult the Tribal Hoho(s) while framing Rules under this provision”.
