The State Government through Music Task Force is contemplating for setting up music school in every district of Nagaland soon. MLA Dr. Nicky Kire, advisor Music Task Force revealed this during the valedictory function of 42nd Ura Academy Tenyidie Seminar here last evening.
Dr. Kire told the seminar that the idea behind the opening of music school in all districts of the State is to identify and recognize the talents of Naga youth in the field of music and push them towards professionalism. Through such platform, he said they can expose themselves and earn their livelihood.
Dr. Kire said everyone cannot get the government job as it has already reached at saturation point.
He encouraged the youngsters to change their mindset on government job and stick to the areas they are good at for their livelihood.
He took music as potential area for livelihood, saying that Naga youth can do wonder both at the national and international level provided they put in dedication and hard work.
