DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): “Cold blooded murder, arson, extortion, grenade attack on innocent civilians etc are what the Khaplang boys knows best and that is their idea of fighting for the Nagas”, stated a press note issued by MIP GPRN/NSCN. The MIP stated that “as always, the Khaplang boys have lived up to their name by attempting to murder a senior member of GPRN/NSCN on Wednesday night”. The press note informed that on the night of October 3rd at around 8:00 pm Mr. Toishe Zhimomi Tatar and Convenor of Crime Control Cell (CCC) was about to retire to bed when two Khaplang boys came to his house and when his son opened the door, they told him that they run errands for his daddy and want to see him.
“The innocent boy without suspecting anything let them in. They entered the room and started firing indiscriminately hitting Mr. Toishe on the stomach and thigh and when his son intervened they shot at him at point blank thrice but by the grace of God the gun got jammed and so he was saved”, the MIP note stated.
Pointing out that “time and again the Khaplang boys has been indulging in many anti-social activities like the recent grenade attacks in Dimapur, and murdering in cold blood many civilian workers and attacking family members of national workers”, the MIP note stated that “shooting at people during wartime or encounters is different, but coming to people’s home and attempting to kill family members is simply an alien culture”.
The MIP note stated that the “Khaplang boys should understand that everyone has family and not only the members of GPRN/NSCN”. “Our patience is stretched to its limit, but as a matured and responsible organisation we are not going to target anyone’s family nor resort to cold blooded murders. We leave it to the people to Judge”, the GPRN/NSCN stated.
