Dimapur, September 7 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of Pongchei Phom of Longleng village, Phom region on September 3.
Late Pongchei, a former Regional Administrative Official (RAO) of Phom Region was a selfless and compassionate man and had also served as a Leacy Speaker, inofmred a condolence note from the MIP NSCN/GPRN.
He joined the national service in the year 2010 and since then served the nation for 12 years wholeheartedly with full commitment and compassion as a true national worker in various capacities till his last breath, it said.
In his demise GPRN have loss one of the most dedicated and promising patriots and his persistent dedication for the Naga nation shall be cherished and treasured in the pages of Naga history, it added.
The GPRN/NSCN also conveyed condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty to grant them solace and comfort.
