Dimapur, August 28 (MExN): Senior leaders of the GPRN/NSCN have met with eastern Sumi leaders in Aghunato village on August 27. The eastern Sumi public expressed full support to ‘Naga unification’, a note from the organization said today.
According to the note, the public leaders and GBs in attendance assured to “not leave any space untoward Nagas unison in our selfless cooperation to FNR in the near future.” Several GBs and others also expressed happiness “at seeing the progress of unification bringing closer different faction under the umbrella which is the only needs of this group for final solution of Naga struggle.”
The note further quoted “GPRN/NSCN” leader Kughalu Mulatonu as saying that “Nagas need public like you all in this reconciliation juncture to repair” and “we will work out together for Naga sovereignty.” The group’s leaders in the meeting included Mulatonu, ‘dy.kilonsers’ Hokato, Nitovi and Viniho.
