GPRN/NSCN returns weapons

DIMAPUR, JUNE 2 (MExN): The office of the Chairman, Ceasefire Supervisory Board, VIP Guest House, Kohima today informed that L/Naik Avika Sumi of 164 Naga Territorial Army “deserted along with weapon (arm), ammunitions and bullet proof equipment on April 11 and joined the GPRN/NSCN (KK) at Kehoi camp.” A press note by the CFSB further informed that the weapons with ammunition and equipment have been returned to the Commandant of the unit by the General Secretary of the GPRN/NSCN in the presence of C Singson, Supervisor and G Rengma (IPS Retd), staff officer of the CSFB on June 1 at Dimapur “as a good gesture.”
