Kohima, November 19 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN-U on Wednesday has claimed to have knowledge that some union traders of Kohima Town are collecting tax on behalf of their government.
In a press update issued here, it stated that the non-remittal of the tax collection by some traders was a serious breach of trust and informed that the action will lead to serious consequences.
‘GPRN/NSCN-U has come to know that some union traders of Kohima Town are collecting tax on behalf of our government, but not remitting them to us especially at T.C.P Gate, Kohima War Cemetery area and PR Hill.
This is unacceptable a serious breach of trust and will lead to serious consequences without the prejudices to the above,’ stated the press release.
