The buzz around town of a ‘possible K-Pop sensation coming to Dimapur,’ is now confirmed. Famed K-Pop artist, Kim Woojin is set to charm the Hallyu fans in Nagaland on October 26 at IMC Hall, Dimapur.

Known for his exceptional vocal skills and stage presence, Woojin is a soloist under 10x Entertainment, and a former K-Pop band member of ‘Stray Kids.’ Since his solo debut in 2021, Woojin’s chart-topping solo music has made him globally prominent in the music world. The 26-year-old has also lent his voice to the soundtracks of popular K-Dramas – ‘King the Land’ and ‘Reborn Rich.’ He is also the first Korean artist to lead an HBO Max series titled, ‘Beyond the Wardrobe.’

Debuting his second mini-album ‘The Moment,’ and ‘King the Land’ OST to a larger venue, Woojin is set to tour India this October in four cities, including Dimapur. The event here, will be a mini-concert and fan meet, organised by Pink Box Entertainment with Musik-A as the production partner.

With a vision of bringing Hallyu aka the Korean Wave, closer to home, the organisers shared their thrill and honour for the chance to host another international act in the city, while addressing the media persons here, at Nagaland Coffee today.

Pink Box Entertainment is a collective brainchild of four women from the North-East, established in 2015. It has been a leading event management company specialising in K-Pop events across India, connecting fans with their favourite artists. They have partnered with the Korean Embassy, Korean Cultural Centre India, Korean Trade Organisation, Government of Meghalaya, Government of Sikkim, to name a few.

Considering the ‘special friendship’ between South Korea and India and marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Pink Box Entertainment has introduced a special ticket for the event, priced at Rs799 (general), which can be bought by students and anyone who is curious about the K-Pop culture and would like to witness it. This ticket will have entry to concert only.

Apart from this ticket (general) category, there are three more ticket types with different perks – Scouted (normal) priced at Rs 1,500; Trainee (VIP) for Rs 3,000 and Rookie (VVIP) for Rs 5,500. The Scouted and Trainee ticket holders may also avail Add-ons priced at Rs 1,000, which will have a perk of availing Hi-Touch with the K-Pop artist.

For the online tickets, the event management company has partnered with Nagaland’s own, mytvshows.in, while one can grab tickets offline at The Hallyu Town Cafe in Thahekhu, Dimapur. The official media partner for ‘The Moment Tour India’ is Namaste Hallyu.

While for the opening act to the concert, the organisers have made the auditions open to everyone, inviting all the local artists (singers and dancers) to compete in it. For more details, one can check out their official Instagram handle @pinkboxevents.

Considering the ‘overwhelming response’ from the previous K-Pop events in Nagaland, the team is hoping to witness a positive one, this time too. Gates will be open for a fan-meet at 3:00 pm, while the concert will begin from 4:30 pm onwards.

The K-Pop sensation with a dedicated fan base across the globe including Paris, Manchester, London, Manila, Singapore, Tokyo will begin his India-tour on October 23 in Delhi, headlining the ‘Road to Cherry Blossom Festival,’ which is being organised by Meghalaya Tourism and Rock Ski. The other cities include Bengaluru and Mumbai on October 28 and 29 respectively.
