DIMAPUR, APRIL 2 (MExN): Police personnel stationed at the Government Railway Police Station, Dimapur recovered an unidentified dead body of a male, Saturday, April 2. According to the GRPS, the corpse was found about 2-3 kilometres away from the railway platform towards Rangapahar, near the FCI food depot in the afternoon.
The deceased, mongoloid in appearance and around 35-40 years of age, had both legs broken. The cause of death cannot be ascertained until autopsy is conducted, GRPS said. No evidence was found to further ascertain the identity of the deceased. The deceased was wearing a pair of black pants and a long-sleeved shirt (striped with red-white prints) over a red vest. It is now kept at the district hospital morgue for post-mortem.
