Wokha, November 4 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Wokha, Orenthung Lotha informed that as per the discussion of the District Task Force meeting for COVID-19 meeting held on November 2, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) directives and guidelines are to be enforced in view of the Tokhu Emong Mini Hornbill Festival, 2021 scheduled to be held from November 4 to 7.
According to a DIPR report, the organizing committee should strictly ensure that all COVID-19 protocols are followed; make adequate space for the arrangement of physical distancing of at least one metre distance; take measures to avoid overcrowding at all cost; ensure compulsory use of face mask and use of hand sanitizers in all the stalls.
“The surroundings of the stalls must be sanitized daily as a strict health measures due to the ongoing pandemic,” it added.
