Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): The one-week handicraft exhibition organised by Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd Dimapur was inaugurated by Zakabo V Rotokha, Managing Director, NHHDC Ltd., Dimapur at Urban Haat, Dimapur on September 5.
All together there are 50 participants from Assam, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh and from the various districts of the home state, Nagaland, exhibiting varieties of hand crafted products, stated a press release.
NHHDC Ltd. Managing Director stated that the main aim and objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. It is also serve to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans.
The exhibition sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi will conclude on September 11.
