Peren, November 21 (MExN): Harpy FC, New Jalukie emerged as Champions of the open penalty shoot-out tournament which was held in New Jalukie on November 20.
It was organized by the Youth Department of Liangmai Baptist Phumling (Church), New Jalukie at Local ground, New Jalukie, Peren.
60 teams from different parts of the State and one team from Manipur participated in the tournament, according to a press release from Sangribo, President of the Baptist Youth Department.
A total of Rs 1,00,000 was given for the prizes, the release added.
The winners Harpy FC walked home with Rs 70,000 cash prize while runners up Immanuel Theological Seminary (ITS), Tamenglong (Manipur) were awarded Rs 20,000.
Zechariah of ITS, Tamenglong was awarded as the Best Goalkeeper and was awarded a sum of Rs 2,000.
The organizers also expressed gratitude to all the participants, New Jalukie Village Council, donors and well-wishers.
