
Kohima, March 29 (MExN): The state office of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Department of Health and Family Welfare organised workshops for health care professionals, members of Nagaland Medical, AYUSH, Nursing, Pharmacy Councils and private practitioners from March 28 to 29.
According to a press release from the Coordination in-charge, ABDM, resource persons from the National Health Authority, Saurav Kumar and Anubhav Puri gave orientation and hands-on training on creation of Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA Ids) and registries of health facility and health professionals including doctors and nurses.
State Mission Director Ajit Kumar Ranjan informed that over 2,35,000 ABHA accounts have been opened in the state till now. The Chief Medical Officers have been designated as nodal officers for registration of health facilities in the system, the release said.
The ABDM mission would enable a seamless and secure digital access to the electronic personal health records to the concerned stakeholders and ensure efficient management of cases and flow of information at pan-India level to health care professionals, insurers, etc, based on consent manager framework, it noted,adding that it would give fillip to various digital intervention including the rollout of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) in all district hospitals.
