Tuensang, July 8 (MExN): To let the children have fun while learning, the class 4 and 5 students of Government Primary School, DC Garage, Tuensang were given health education through the medium they love most - cartoon films and singing.
The programme was conducted by the IEC staff of Chief Medical Officer’s Office, Tuensang with resource persons comprising of Mass Education and Information Officer, Block Extension Educator, and Family Welfare Assistant on July 7. Sweets and lyric sheets on Malaria Song were distributed and all the students sang the song a couple of times. A cartoon film on personal hygiene was also screened. After the singing and screening session, the resource persons explained on malaria and personal hygiene to the children.
