KOHIMA, JULY 13 (MExN): Nagaland Minister for Health & Family Welfare, P Paiwang Konyak today stated that there is no excuse to delay commencement of the Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR) Kohima.

Following the inspection of the entire NIMSR campus, the Minister, while reminding that the admission will commence soon, cautioned the technical team and the contractors that the commencement of the state’s dream college should not be hindered because of a few contractors who do not complete their projects on time.

Asserting that ample time has been allotted to the contractors to complete the infrastructures and there was no dearth of releasing funds, Konyak said there should be no excuses to delay the commencement of the college.

The Minister also held a meeting with the staff of NIMSR post inspection. A press release from the Health Minister’s Press Secretary informed that he gave patient hearing to the grievances shared by the various departments and assured of the government’s full support towards full functioning of the college on time.
