The landslide that carried away a house at Longsa village under Mokokchung district.
Mokokchung, May 12 (MExN): Heavy rainfall in the past few days in Longsa Village under Mokokchung district has caused landslides resulting in a damaged house and roads blockade in the village. Floods following the rainfall have also damaged the paddy fields in Moalenden and Meyilong under Longsa village, informed the villagers. Officers from the state Disaster Management (NSDMA) have reportedly visited the affected sites to take stock of the situation. No losses of lives have been reported so far.
