Kohima, March 1 (MExN): Personnel of Narcotic Cell Police Station, CID, manning the Narcotic Check Point Khuzama, Kohima on February 27, stopped a vehicle B/R No. MNOSP-1 186 (Maruti Ciaz), silver colour, for routine checking at around 1:00 pm. A search of the vehicle and the occupant resulted in the seizure of 50 soap cases of suspected heroin weighing approximately 600 grams, worth approximately 1.8 crore in the illicit global market, stated a n update received here. One person, Lenminthang Khongsai (29s) has been arrested. In this connection, a case vide Narcotic Cell PS Case No. 003/2022 U/S 21 (C)/ 60 NDPS Act has been registered for further investigation, it added.
