Shamator, August 9 (MExN): High Hill Green Club, Shamator (HHGCS) emerged as the winner of the tournament Metemneo Volleyball Tournament organized by the Shamator Area Sports Association (SASA) at Shamator on August 8. 3rd NAP Out Sector, Shamator and PWD colony, Shamator claimed the second and third places respectively. A total of nine teams participated in the tournament. Yimchungers of Shamator marked the festival – celebrated on August 8 – with cultural events, merry making and sports. The Dhopun Cultural Society Shamator (DCSS) organized the Metemneo Feast at DCSS treasure. In a short programme before the feast, Kiuji PL highlighted on the significance of the festival and the Dhopun Cultural Society, Shamator presented a cultural song. Legal Officer, Power Department, RakhoJanger exhorted the gathering in the programme, while Kiutsu and Tokiumong presented a special song.
