Mokokchung, 26 May (MexN): A one day HIV & AIDS Advocacy with church leaders was held on 25 May at Ongpangkong salang, Mokokchung, organised by the Care and Support Society, Mokokchung in collaboration with Pastor’s Fellowship Mokokchung Town and supported by Legistators Forum AIDS, Nagaland.
The event was introduced by Imchawati Kichu, Managing Director, Care and Support Society.
The programme was divided into three sessions. The different topics that were addressed in the sessions were “HIV & AIDS scenario and response of the church” by Dr. Vinito L.Chishi, where he discussed on developing strategies on ministering to people living with HIV/AIDS and “Risk and Vulnerability” by Hokatoli, LFA staff, trainer and educator where she shared about the functions of the churches towards people living with HIV/AIDS.
The last session was feedback and interaction section, where the attendees raised several questions based on HIV/AIDS.
