Hollotoli School, Dimapur achieved success at two national-level interschool events hosted by The Assam Valley School, Balipara — the 19th East India Debates held from July 13 to 15 and AVSMUN 2025 from July 17 to 19.
Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): Hollotoli School, Dimapur achieved success at two national-level interschool events hosted by The Assam Valley School, Balipara — the 19th East India Debates held from July 13 to 15 and AVSMUN 2025 from July 17 to 19.
A press release received here stated that At the East India Debates, the team from Hollotoli School advanced for the Quarter Finals, securing a place among the Top 8 teams after three intense Preliminary Qualifying Rounds. Adding to the school’s distinction, Shisalong Jamir (Class XII) was adjudged one of the Top 10 Best Speakers of the tournament.
Building on this achievement, 17 students from Hollotoli School participated in the AVSMUN 2025, competing alongside 190 delegates from 10 leading institutions across the country. Demonstrating impressive diplomatic skills and outstanding performance, the team was awarded the coveted Best School Trophy for its all-round performance across committees.
The school team also won several individual recognitions including Best Delegate Awards, High Commendation, Special Mentions, Most Promising Journalist, and Verbal Mention.
