Hospitality training for homestay in Peren underway

Peren, October 16 (MExN): Three-day hospitality training for homestay organised by Peren district Administration and Peren district skill committee in collaboration with Small industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and GHE  Impact Ventures is underway at Peren RSETI Centre, New Peren from October 16. This training programme funded by SIDBI will culminate on October 18.

A DIPR report stated that DC Peren, Vineet Kumar IAS in his inaugural speech said that this training will enhance the knowledge of existing homestay and equip them to run their homestay as well as to manage their respective rural destinations effectively. He also stated that the initiative aims to help the existing homestay with a formalised training with the aspect of guest services, hospitality, registration, gastronomy and to help in promoting tourism in the district. 

The DC also said that the homestay are the integral part of community as it supports the rural population with the economical and social strength.

Simarpreet Kaur GHE Impact Ventures and Dinesh Menaria GHE Impact Ventures highlighted about the importance of homestay skills. Lily Lotha, Director RSETI gave the welcome speech and Rameez Roshan MGNF Peren pronounced vote of thanks.
