HSLC, HSSLC results out today

Toppers: Vepilu, Tianla, Pintu and Roshan

Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): Nagaland Board of School Education has declared the HSLC and HSSLC results for academic board 2009. Vepilu Chuzho of Fernwood School in Kohima, emerged the topper in the HSLC Top 20 with a total mark aggregate of 554 an aggregate percentage of 92.33%. Sneha Agarual of St. Mary’s High School, Dimapur, ranked top-second with a total mark aggregate of 553 and aggregate percentage of 92.16%. Ranked top-third, Animesh of Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School in Dimapur scored a close 552 and a total aggregate percentage of 92.00%.

In the HSSLC Arts stream, Mezhur Higher Secondary School in Kohima walked away with the top ‘three’ honors in the Top-10. Tianla Longchar of Mezhur Higher Secondary School Kohima made the first rank in the Top 10 with an aggregate mark of 492 and aggregate percentage of 82.00%. Interestingly this time, two students ranked top-second with Tiasenla Longkumer and Thejatseizo Angami both securing total marks of 486 and percentage of 81.00%. Securing top-third, Lireni T Tsanglao of Greenwood Higher Secondary School in Dimapur also secured a total mark aggregate of 486 and percentage of 81.00%. (In case of a tie in the marks, the grades of internally-assessed subjects are taken into consideration to decide rank.)

In Commerce, Pintu Debnath of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur scored 496 with an aggregate percentage of 82.67% to walk away the topper. Placed top-second, Sidibo of Mount Mary Higher Secondary School in Chumukedima scored a total mark aggregate of 492 and percentage of 82.00%. Anurudh Kumar of Singh of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur scored 486 and aggregate percentage of 81.00% to secure the top-third rank. 

In Science, Roshan Gupta of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur topped the stream with a total mark of 519 and aggregate percentage of 86.50%.  Placed top-second, Himanshu Shekhar Jha of Kohima Science College in Jotsoma scored a total mark aggregate of 502 and percentage of 83.67%. Manjo Kumar Mahato of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur secured a total mark aggregate of 501 and total aggregate percentage of 83.50% to be ranked top-third in the stream.
