Dimapur, October 15 (MExN): In a major haul, the Kohima Police on October 14 has recovered 24,000 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon and 2000 tablets of Nitrosun from one Manipur bound passenger vehicle.
A 22-year old young man was also arrested for the possession of the drugs. The banned drugs were recovered during a routine checking and frisking of vehicles by police personnel manning the interstate check gate at Khuzama, informed a press release from the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (South) & PRO Kohima, Atu Zumvü NPS.
The police identified that offender as one Wahidur Raham of Lilong village, under Thoubal district, Manipur. A regular was registered against Raham at Khuzama PS for conducting further investigation, the PRO release added.
