Zunheboto, April 9 (MExN): Health and Wellness Centre, Asuqika under Pughoboto block, Zunheboto celebrated 50 years of establishment (1972-2022) with Dr K Vikato Kinimi, Director (Health), Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland as the guest of honour.
A press release issued by Keneikhrietuo, District Media Officer CMO Zunheboto stated that the guest of honour, Dr Vikato speaking on the occasion, encouraged the people of Pughoboto block and Asuqika areas to be sincere and work towards the improvement of the public health sector for the benefit of the general public.
With 50 years celebration of the health unit, Dr Vikato assured to push forward for the up-gradation of the Asukiqa HWC into Primary Health Centre (PHC) with proper channel and all possibilities.
The jubilee theme speaker, Shikiho Sema, Pastor Tsaphimi B/C speaking on the motto of Asuqika HWC ‘Build Up Together made a reference to the scripture by stating that unity is way to progress and make achievement. He encouraged the leaders to be united both spiritually and physically and stand together for progress in the society.
The programme was attended by Dr Sukhato A Sema Rtd, Principal Director (H&FW), Deputy CMO Dr K Akaho Sema, Dr J Hokugha Sema DVBO, Dr Kheshika Deputy Director, staffs under CMO estb., Civil Society organizations, church leaders and people of the Asuqika areas.
Earlier, inaugural prayer was pronounced by Z Yekivi Swu, Pastor Ghokimi B/C followed by unveiling of the monolith.
The programme was chaired by Tohovi Swu, Ex President SAKK and welcome speech by Khuwoto Swu, Chairman Asukiqa. Short speechs were delivered by Dr Sukhato A Sema Rtd, Principal Director (H&FW), Deputy CMO Dr K Akaho Sema, Dr J Hokugha Sema DVBO, Dr Kheshika Deputy Director.
