Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): ICFAI University Nagaland (IUN) four-day orientation for students admitted in different programmes in the Academic Session 2021-22 commenced on September 27. A press release from the university stated that the Department of Management Studies, IUN conducted orientation program on September 27 with Col VRK Prasad (Retd) Chancellor, IUN and ICFAI University Meghalaya as the chief guest.
Col VRK Prasad (Retd) stressed on Management of Human Resource tactfully. Welcome address was delivered by Dr Arun Kumar Verma, Vice Chancellor ICFAI University Nagaland. Guest of honour, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur shared his experiences and encouraged the students to identify their passion.
Dr Jai Singh Parihar, Former Satish Dhawan Professor, Scientist & Dy Director, Space Application Center, ISRO, Ahmadabad and Prof Madhu Kumar PS, Dean (Academics), Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore graced the programme as distinguished guests.
In the second session, briefing of student code of conduct was held. The programme was chaired by Vindhya Sagar, Assistant Professor and Adakho Kadate, Manager, Procurement Chabou & Co Nagaland, and IUN alumni shared his experience.
