Tripura, February 25 (MExN): The Techno Cultural Festival ICARIA-2K22 at ICFAI University Tripura Campus was inaugurated by Tripura, Deputy Chief Minister, Jishnu Dev Varma as chief guest on February 23.
In his address, Jishnu Dev Varma encouraged to the students to dream a lot, if they want to become successful. He quoted former President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam “Dream is not that which we see while sleeping, it is something that doesn’t let us sleep”.
The special guest, Padma Shree Dr Dipa Karmakar in her speech said that ICFAI has changed the educational scenario of Tripura by providing various professional educations for which she feels proud of. She advised the students to work hard work for achieving success in life.
Earlier, ICFAI University Tripura, Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Biplab Halder delivered the welcome address and highlighted the festival. He explained about the extension initiatives of ICFAI towards the development of the society.
The programme started with colorful cultural presentation and it concluded with vote of thanks speech by Dr A Ranganath, Registrar of the University. Bollywood playback Singer Gajendra Verma and DJ Akhil are also part of the festival.
