Tripura, July 4 (MExN): ICFAI University Tripura is emerging to be one of the premier institutions not only in the region but all across the country with students accomplishing several achievements.
In the Skill India Competition in Health & Social Care DT 4th year student of the University, Nachim Uddin secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position at the state level, regional level, and national level respectively. In the State Level Skill Competition for CNC Milling 2021, Mechanical Engineering students of IUT Md. Rabeul Hussain and Mananjita Dey shared the 1st position while Mohit Paul of the same department secured the 2nd position. In the State Level Skill Competition in Web Technology held in 2021 CSE student of IUT, Pritam Das secured 1st and 2nd position at regional and state levels respectively.
Sayel Debbarma secured the first position in Tripura State Level Muay Thai Championship held from March 29 and 30, 2021. Reshmi Sinha secured a silver medal and 3rd place in XXVI National Thang-Ta Championship 2021 and Wako India National Kickboxing Championship 2021 respectively. Lipton Chisim secured a gold medal and Pralay Majumder and Biprajit Das received a silver medal each in Tripura State Judo Championship 2020-21. Abhajit Debbarma of IUT secured a bronze medal in the National Muay Thai championship in 2021-22 and a Gold medal in the National Muay Thai championship in 2022-23. He also secured a Silver medal in Tripura State Muay Thai Championship 2022.
Akash Bhowmik from CE department got placed in BYJU’s as a Business Development Trainee with a staggering package of Rs 10,00,000. Pradosh Kanti Chakraborty an MBA student of the University was also placed in BYJU’s as a Business Development Trainee with an impressive package of Rs 10,00,000. Natraj Das pursuing MBA from the University was placed at Panet Spark as a Business Development Counselor having a package of Rs 7,00,800.
Anupam Baidya and Rohit Chakraborty were placed as the content reviewer and the Manager at Amazon. Harshajyoti was placed as a Software Engineer at TCS while Kaustav Konar was placed as a sales force developer at the Cognizant. Pallab Bhuyan secured a job as a pre-sale associate at BYJUS and Debopriyo Choudhury was placed at Simplilearn.
According to a press release received here, the University also provides scholarships to meritorious students which enable them to pursue their degrees without any financial burden. More than 2,500 students have received Scholarships worth 7 crore.
It also added that the University is in the process of signing MOU for students to go for higher education in USA. To fulfil the aim, on behalf of ICFAI Group, Prof (Dr) Biplab Halder, Vice-Chancellor of the ICFAI University Tripura and Dr P Venkat, Member Secretary, ICFAI Society attended the NAFSA 22 Annual Conference & Expo held at Denver, Colorado, USA from May 31 to June 3.
