A powerful bomb suspected to be Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded near Kasturi Bridge in the heart of Imphal around 7 pm today. However, there was no report of any casualty. The impact of the blast had damaged some portion of Mahavir Medico (Pharmacy). Police have started investigating the incident as seen in the photo. No group has claimed responsibility so far.
