DIMAPUR, JUNE 30 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), 8th Western Angami A/C has condemned what it termed as the malicious act of certain individual (s) impersonating the Minister for Horticulture & Women Resource Development, Salhoutuonuo Kruse in various social media platforms.
A condemnation note from NDPP 8th Western Angami A/C said Salhoutuonuo Kruse is the elected representative of the said constituency in the 14th NLA and holds an upright moral and social standing in the society. She is a bonafide daughter of Kiruphema village, married to Er Kevisekho Kruse who is a bonafide son of Khonoma village, both from Angami tribe under Kohima district, Nagaland and has no relation with the Meiteis or Mizos under any circumstances whatsoever.
In this connection, the 8th Western Angami A/C said the Minister does not have any issues nor have said anything on the matter with regard to the ongoing Manipur crisis.
Terming the act as nothing short of character assassination and defamation creating communal harmony, the 8th Western Angami A/C has urged upon the concerned authorities to investigate the matter with utmost priority and book the culprits at the earliest.
