Kohima, May 15 (MExN): The Indian Dental Association, Nagaland State Branch (IDA NSB) in collaboration with world leading implant manufacturer, Nobel Biocare from United States has completed the Implant Clinical Course in Kohima.
Dr Vichovol Temi, Honorary Secretary, IDA NSB in a press release stated that Nobel Biocare is the world leader in innovative restoration and esthetic dental solutions, also providing highly professional training and education across the globe. The course was held from December 2017 to May 2018.
For the 2nd Implant Prosthesis Module, lectures were held at Hotel Vivor from May 5 to 7, and the clinical session was conducted at Advanced Dental Aesthetic & Implant Clinic, Kohima, which was supported by Rohini Dental Lab. from outside the state. On all the nine implants placed patients, Osseointegration were successful, the release said.
Dr. Kanir Bhatia, renowned Oral Implantologist and Cosmetic Dentist from Mumbai, was the mentor of the course. He said the participants got opportunity to do advanced surgical procedure like Immediate Dental implant placement, Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) procedure using the latest Tissue Regeneration techniques.
Dr. Pfukrolo Koza MDS, Periodontist and Oral Implantologist, who was the Course Coordinator, said the Northeast dentists will be able to provide the latest advanced dental rehabilitation to their patients.
Eight participants were awarded and certified as Oral Implantologist by the mentor with certificates on completion of the course.
