In your view, are Naga youth today more united than previous generations regarding their shared identity? Give reasons

Yes:
•    Early generation (our parents) are still in hangover of village republic mindset, but in today's generation our identity is clearer than ever and we don't need to defend our village anymore from our neighbouring village, rather we need security from job, livelihood and therefore this has become the common uniting factor which all faces especially the young generation given the prevailing situation.

•    I have seen lots of youths outside states unite believing they are under one umbrella being a Naga. Within Nagaland itself it's complicated.

•    Yes, Naga youth had dramatically changed to a better and broader version of today's. As compared to the previous generations people are occupied within the residential areas, compacted with just local knowledge and strength, as means of communication and technology lacks during those days, the ability to connect people are so narrow and as of now more intensive technologies are brought up and communication barriers had been cut off, which hugely contributes to the social economy of the Naga youth , which brought in various collaboration , establishment, and tribal lines reaching to one end

•    Yes. Speaking English as it bridges division. Unity primarily begins with speaking the same language.

No:
•    Because all the Nagas old or young are money lovers, no one see and fucus for the next generation of Nagas

•    No Naga youths today are voiceless. No voice that’s why corruption, back door appointment, unemployment issues and more

•    No. NSF, in the past has youth/student movement and martyrs but not anymore

•    Still very divided. In a tribal society like ours or a clan based society like ours, i won't use the word Impossible but it will take generations and circumstances to realize on our shared identity. We are still evolving.

•    Youth of today are more individualistic and self centred influenced by antisocial media and a get rich quick mentality given the corrupt examples and political despair around them.

Others:
•    How many groups/party/organization are introduced every year… other people discards unnecessary groups/party & become united but we are completely the opposite.

•    It should be, the call of the future as a nation calls for unity amongst our people, especially the youths.

•    The shallow sphere of the Naga Society bonded in the dual nature of ism and vernacular differences has long been the root cause of ineffective society. There is no youth culture in town, bridging different aspects of life. The alcohol and sex culture is more rampant among the Naga millennial and teens. Who is to blame? Society? Our parents? or the relative choices we make? When I say culture, Nagas haven't evolved as a society but rather a fragmented piece of society trying to evolve in every nook and corner without the other. Our selfish ways of life have dissected the very fabric of the generation's mind of togetherness and now that it is more awkward for any kind of socialization.

•    There is a group of people who practically takes part in building the society by doing whatever they could for the cause the other half sits at home and judge those group of people. Then comes tribalism social standards family backgrounds etc etc... unity???
