DIMAPUR, JULY 22 (MExN): The Naga Cultural and Literature (Central) and Council of Naga Affairs is set to organize all inclusive “Preparatory Consultation Meeting” on July 30, 2016 at Zingkaling Khamti, Myanmar for the NLD government led 21st Century Panglong Conference. In this connection, a joint press statement from Naga Cultural and Literature (Central) and Council of Naga Affairs have invited Naga Self-Administered Zone government, political parties, tribal Hohos, civil society organizations, women organizations, youth and students organizations, and NGOs to participate in the meeting. It has also extended invitation to the Nagas in India with “expectation of support so that this meeting may pave a way to find a solution for the Nagas in Myanmar/Burma at the upcoming 21st Century Panglong Conference.” According to the press statement, the 21st Century Panglong Conference is likely to be held in the last week of August and is aimed to solve 60-year-old armed conflicts in Myanmar/Burma through political dialogue.
