The campaign kick-off programme of Independent candidate Khobonuo Lilly Zaphu for ULB election to Ward No- 13 (Lower Chandmari) Kohima took place today at Tevomi building, AG road, Kohima.
With a slogan “March towards progress,” Khobonuo said that youth and women empowerment will be her top agenda for June 12 poll, apart from addressing the weaker section of the society.
She assured to focus on vocational training for women and youth.
She emphasized on the need to build infrastructure like a recreational centre where everyone can come together under one roof and showcase their talents and march forward.
“Without your support, without your vote I cannot win,” she said and appealed the residents of the colony members to cast their vote in her favour. The programme was chaired by Anung Walling while Kahe Mesung (Election Agent) delivered a welcome address. Vote of thanks was proposed by Otto Kibami.
