Indian Institute of Paramedical Tech opened

Kohima, June 6 (MExN): The Indian Institute of Paramedical Technology, AG Road-Kohima was formally inaugurated on June 5 by ZM Sekhose, president of Tenyimia Central Union Nagaland, Manipur and Assam State.

Speaking on the occasion, Sekhose was confident that the studies and training gained from this institute will go a long way in meeting the tremendous challenge in the field of health and medical technologies and in eradicating diseases in the land.

“The studies will also help the students who complete their courses in gaining employment in various establishments in the years to come,” he maintained.

He also asserted that the institute has a great role in combating diseases and unemployment problem in Nagaland as well as the North East India.

A short speech was delivered by APO president Mhiesizokho Zinyu, who suggested that local prominent citizens should render  support for the future of the institution.

Dr. Jalhoutsu Chase, principal of Paramedical Training Institute, Government of Nagaland, called upon the students to be sincere from the beginning of the study course and become a good citizen in performing their sincere and dedicated service to the people. 

The principal of the Institute Dr. R. Zinyiu, Director Medical Services (Rtd) has chaired the function and Pastor of Phom Church Kohima, Phomle Phom, said the invocation prayer followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. Oayong Phom. The vote of thanks was offered by Dr. A.K. Sikder.
