Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): St Joseph University (SJU) organised a Fresher’s Induction Programme for Post Graduate students on August 29 at the University Auditorium Hall with Rupin Sharma, DG Prisons, Home Guard & Civil Defence, as the special chief guest.
According to a press release from the SJU, Rupin Sharma encouraged the students to utilise and manage time judiciously and also urged them to be responsible citizens in the society. He also emphasised on the importance of having ambitious spirit during student life and told them to build on their potential capacity.
Dr K Sethupathy, Registrar (acting) delivered the welcome note followed by key note address by the Vice Chancellor, Dr D Gnanadurai. The system with regards to the proceedings of academics was shared by Dr Kinitoli H Yeptho (Dean Academics), Examination and evaluation system by Dr Thiyagarajan (Controller of Examination), while Prof Charles Ezung (Dean Student Affairs) talked about the students’ life at SJU, the release informed.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks and benediction by Sister Chinnammal DMI, Finance Controller.
