Dimapur, January 29 (MExN): The Village Council of Industrial Village Razhüphe held a general meeting on January 27 at the Council Chairman's Residence and adopted a resolution to stand by its last meeting resolution to strictly ban selling of wine/IMFL within the village jurisdiction. In this connection, the house empowered the Village Mother's Unit to check and enforce the resolution. “Anyone indulging in selling of Wine/IMFL and also those creating nuisance by getting drunk within the Village jurisdiction from the date of this publication will be sternly dealt with as per the resolution by the Village Council,” the resolution read. Meanwhile, the house also collectively elected Neingulie Angami to be the new Village Council Chairman and relieved T.L. Angami (Head G.B cum Chairman) from the Chairmanship.
